The National Poster Retrospecticus

Hello!

The National Poster Retrospecticus is a traveling show of more than 300 hand-printed event posters from over 100 of the most prominent poster designers in the USA.

The NPR is produced by JP Boneyard; a poster designer and enthusiast who has been setting up art and music events since 1998. While some form of The NPR goes back as far as 2006, the current format took shape in the Spring of 2012. Our mission is to celebrate posters, the made-by-hand aesthetic and help spread that enthusiasm around the world. We wanna travel everywhere!

"The NPR stands as the most well organized, most well laid out, and most communicative show I've ever worked with. It's beautifully branded and incredibly curated."

Mike Davis

"We were honored to host The NPR. John and crew were super professional, well-organized, and easy to work with. We'd love to see this show return and we'd be thrilled to host it again."

Dan Ibarra

"We thought we had seen it all. After 15 years in the scene I can still find new and exciting art in this show and that's a testament to its expansiveness."
